BUILDING DISCIPLES!
Praise the Lord for the work He is doing at RCC! In 2026, when we celebrate our 20th year as a congregation, we can look back and remember that the Lord has clearly established the steps of this church from day one. Riverview is His church and we are committed to following Him wherever He leads us. As we open our hands to receive the future that the Lord will bring to us, we are embracing an opportunity to build disciples by expanding our church building.

What is the need?
Our Kid’s Life rooms are often crowded, and we are forced to use a hallway as a classroom to facilitate the number of children growing in their faith and understanding of Jesus on a given Sunday morning.
Our youth are in need of a dedicated youth space for their own journey with Christ that is separate from our auditorium worship space.
Our adults could use additional space for learning, discipleship classes, and LifeGroups.
So, after prayerful consideration, we are starting the process of adding all of this needed space for our children, youth, and adults on to the back of our existing building.
This new addition will almost double the square footage of our current space and provide much needed room to continue building disciples as the church grows.
Main Level Plan. Adult Space added in existing KidsLife rooms. KidsLife Space added behind existing building on main level.
Lower Level Plan. Youth Space added in walkout basement underneath additional KidsLife Space.
I’m ALL IN! What can I do?
1) Pray! This is the first and most important task.
2) Give! Pray about what you might contribute to building disciples at RCC.
3) Celebrate! Celebrate what the Lord has done in 20 years and what He will continue to do at RCC in the future.
Would you be willing to pray about giving an end of year gift to this building project?
As we consider this significant, even overwhelming project, we remember the truth of Ephesians 3:20 and the reality that monumental tasks in our eyes look small in God’s eyes.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV)
As we consider why we are expanding our building, we remember the command of Jesus in Matthew 28. This is why we exist as a church.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20a (ESV)
